The Groundwork Merseyside Environmental Awards recognise this and acts both as an annual showcase event that gives community groups, businesses, schools and public authorities an opportunity to demonstrate that they are playing their part in the creation of sustainable communities on Merseyside, as well a celebration of the environmental achievements that have been made in Merseyside throughout the last year.

This year Halton and Warrington based businesses and initiatives are also eligible to enter the awards.
